Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 egg whisked
- Sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
Yogurt Sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- Sea salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes crushed
- 1/2 cup full-fat yogurt
- 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
Instructions
- Spritz the sides and bottom of the cooking basket with 2 teaspoons of olive oil.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, beef, egg, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic, marjoram, mustard seeds, and celery seeds.
- Shape the mixture into kebabs and place them in the greased cooking basket.
- Cook at 365°F (185°C) for 11 to 12 minutes, turning once or twice until cooked through.
- While the koftas cook, mix all sauce ingredients and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Serve the pork koftas with the yogurt sauce on the side.
