Instructions
Beat eggs, then stir in sugar, salt, and vanilla.
Scald milk and gradually add it to the egg mixture.
Stir until it is thoroughly blended.
Pour into custard cups or a baking pan.
Set in a pan of hot water that is a height equal to the level of the custard.
Bake at 325° for 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center of the custard comes out clean.
