Chilled Apple & Cheese Salad
As a girl, I was convinced that I didn’t like gelatin salads. But when my Aunt Clara served this at an anniversary party, I found I had been mistaken!

pkg. lemon gelatin mix

boiling water
▢

c.
cold water
▢
2/3
c.
red apple
cored and finely chopped
▢
1/3
c.
shredded Cheddar cheese

celery
chopped
Instructions
In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Stir in cold water; chill until partially set.
Fold in remaining ingredients.
Pour into a 3-cup mold.
Cover and chill 3 hours, or until firm.
Unmold onto a serving plate.
