Maple, Bacon And Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients
Makes 3 cups, to frost 12 cupcakes

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 stick unsalted butter, softened
▢

pure maple syrup

powdered sugar
sifted

chopped
toasted pecans
▢
¼
cup
cooked and crumbled bacon
about 3 slices
Instructions
In an electric mixer beat the cream cheese and butter on medium speed until smooth and evenly combined.
Add the maple syrup.
With mixer on low, gradually add the powdered sugar until the frosting is thick and spreadable.
Fold in the toasted pecans and bacon bits.
