Slow-Cooked Pepper Steak

round steak

soy sauce

16 oz. tomatoes with liquid, cut up

chopped onion
▢

green peppers
cut into strips

garlic clove
minced
▢

cold water
▢

teaspoon
sugar

tablespoon
cornstarch
▢

teaspoon
salt
▢
cooked noodles or rice
Instructions
Cut beef into 3" x 1" strips; brown in oil in skillet.
Transfer to slow cooker.
Combine next 7
ingredients and pour over beef.
Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours, until meat is tender.
Add tomatoes and green pepper; cook on low 1 hour longer.
Combine the cold water and cornstarch to make a paste, stir into liquid in slow cooker and cook on high until thickened.
